Job Description

    *Reinsurance Planning Finance function in India primarily supports the Planning and Reporting process of Reinsurance Business. This position will be supporting entire Reinsurance Planning Division.What will your essential responsibilities include
    • Responsible for leading the Reinsurance India Planning team.
    • Responsible for Yearly Budget and Quarterly Reforecast processes and activities. This includes preparation of various packs and exhibits, analytical reviews and commentaries if needed.
    • Responsible for performing Reconciliation between Anaplan, EFR, HFM, QlikView, Magnitude to ensure consistency between systems and provide any corrective action if necessary.
    • Taking ownership of Local/Corporate Exhibits (Anaplan or QlikView), Opex Allocation for Budget & Reforecast, Finalizing OnTop adjustments with Controllership, preparation of GWP Walk.
    • Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and posting (if needed) journal entries to EBS, HFM.
    • Maintain strong communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.
    • Keeping the flexibility in reports to incorporate any high level adjustments or structural changes from stakeholders.
    • Develops and maintains process documentation.
    • Drive continuous/ process improvement and special projects.
    • Support Ad-hoc activities.
    , *We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
    • Accounting and Analytical skills: Qualified CA with relevant experience of 10 years or MBA Finance with relevant experience of 12-14 years in Financial Planning & Analysis.
    • People Management: Should have 4-5 years of experience in leading the team.
    • Good Accounting knowledge Income Statement Analysis, Balance Sheet, Journal Entries, etc.
    • Knowledge Enterprise Finance Reporting (EFR), QlikView & HFM / Smart-View, IFRS 17, will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of Anaplan is an added advantage.
    • Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • MS Office skills: Should have strong MS Excel skills.
    • Able to work and communicate effectively as part of a cross-geographic, cross-organizational and cross-cultural team.
    • Strong team player and ability to work in large groups across the organization.
    • Strong customer-focused and result oriented.
