Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forSenior Manager, Global Demand Forecasting Capability CentreThis role requires someone who can craft and handle data-heavy, highly automated forecasting and planning processes for sophisticated businesses, on a global scale. It also requires large scale organizational change capabilities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.Taking ownership for the performance of the end-to-end forecasting planning process, you, and your team also:
• Help, challenge and improve the local planner communitys forecasting practices and innovate with them
• Further develop consistent and highly automated strategy for long-term tactical short-term operational forecasting in all countries, accounting for factors like scalability
• Develop initiatives (e.g., machine learning) that help us accurately sense and shape demand
• Handle and build strong relationships with the Finance, Data Analytics, Technology and Commercial departments
• Generate cost savings, innovate, automate, and standardize work processes ensure best practices are shared across all countries
• Proactively find opportunities for the continued improvement of our forecasting models
• Act as a sparring partner for Senior Management, including reporting directly into the Global reports, dashboards, and teams
• Build and implement a long-term vision to optimize our forecasting as well as day-to-day improvements process standardization
• Building coaching the team further

• Manage a team that will assemble, analyze and adjust all data pertinent to creating the demand forecast: historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, financial budgets and inventory levels. Gather, analyze and validate data and review resulting statistical forecast models.
• Collaborate with IBP and Demand Planning Managers across the globe to drive standardized planning processes.
• Ensure that demand plans and inventory measurements are prepared, reviewed, reported, and communicated to the Integrated Business Planning Manager within Global Ops and Division management. Ensure appropriate communication is provided back to the division.
• Collaborate with Marketing and new product development teams to define launch strategy and manage product life cycle implications to demand and inventory.
• Present recommendations for product rationalization to Executive Management.
• Ensure that visibility is provided to the supply chain on expected demand or events through the demand signaling process.
• Review KPIs to proactively identify misalignment between sales, demand, and supply chain capacity with relevant team to address and close gaps.
• Achieve consensus for operational demand plans by facilitating a collaborative planning process with Sales, Marketing and Finance personnel (Divisional IBP meetings).
• Achieve customer service levels, forecast accuracy, and inventory metrics for the division.
• Must lead and participate in the development, modification and improvement of procedures, policies and processes regarding demand planning inventory management.
• Drive implementation and use of corporate planning tools.
• Review and oversee a wide range of processes including: short and long-term sales demand planning and process improvements.
What you need:
• 8+ years relevant working experience, preferably in forecasting planning and large scale change/project management
• Degree level in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management/computer science
• MBA or master s in supply chain preferred.
• APICS accredited or professional supply chain accreditation preferred
