Job Description

    About the Company:We are a Fintech company - one of the largest mobile wallets and one of the largest Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) players in India. We are focused towards empowering 101M+ users with Financial Independence. Founded in 2009 by Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku, we commenced operations as a mobile wallet to make digital payments convenient for our users. Our use cases have since expanded to include bill payments, e-commerce shopping, food delivery, petrol pumps, large retail chains, pharmacies, Kirana stores, etc. Our platform also enables peer-to-peer payments via a unified payment interface ( UPI ), MobiKwik Wallet as well as MobiKwik Wallet to bank payments. Over the years we have amassed over 101 million Registered Users and more than 3 million eCommerce, physical retail, and biller partners.In May 2019, we launched MobiKwik Zip, our flagship BNPL product, with a focus on the Indian middle-class population to enable them to make payments for daily life use cases. MobiKwik Zip is focused on providing this unserved Indian population their first experience of credit. We are a technology-first company leveraging big data analytics and deep data science (including machine learning) to continuously delight users and merchants on our platform. Our mission is to build a world-class payments and credit products for Bharat! Responsibilities: - Own & Drive the end-to-end product strategy and growth for one or more top verticals at MobiKwik.- Own & Drive the user experience on Android, iOS, and WEB for these verticals. Understand the users needs (both spoken & tacit) and identify current gaps in the system.- Ship products with Engineering and Design based on the agile framework.- If needed, interface with external partners/aggregators/government bodies/financial institutions in order to get clarity on the path forward & deliver within aggressive deadlines.- Evaluate the impact of your changes by analyzing data & sharing insights with the broader team - Eat your own dog food meaning, you should be a power user of your product & know it better than anyone else in the company.- Help the Business team define clear & differentiated value propositions that they can offer to customers/merchants/aggregators etc. in the market Qualifications: - BTech./BE/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent and/or MBA from top business school- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management and technology experience- Previous Product Management experience in the Payment Gateway- Previous programming experience is a double plusKey Competencies:- Has the capability to drive projects to fruition; no matter how complex or ambiguous the environment is.- Thrives in a cross-functional and fast-paced, startup environment. Is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty with minute details.- Sweats the small things - font types, alignment, UI, UX, etc - you get our drift!- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on customer research, data, and industry trends.- Stays on top of what is happening in the industry & molds the product to make it future proof- Articulate communication skills,
