Job summaryThe IN DEX team is looking for an SDE to help the team create scalable and robust technology that builds upon a hugely successful proof of concept in the package consolidation space. We build algorithms and ML models that detect package consolidation opportunities, and then create programs that incentivize customers to select the recommended products. This enables Amazon to pass on the cost savings to our customers while also allowing customers and Amazon to reduce their carbon footprint. You will be involved in the entire product development cycle including customer calls, planning, design, prototyping, launching, and managing operations. • 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
