Job Description

About the opportunity

The Smart P&ID (SPID) Administrator will become an integral part of the Global Project Technology Services (PTS) Team and be responsible for configuring, implementing, supporting and administering SMART P&ID on Project work.

The successful applicant will require significant skills in the administration and support of SPID in various configurations, as well as the ability to work as part of a team. He or she will be familiar and knowledgeable of the various products within the Hexagon SMART Suite.

Strong knowledge and experience of how SPID integrates through SPF with both SmartPlant and Non-SmartPlant tools is required in order to fulfil this role.

Being part of the Global team will provide the successful applicant with a network of support, but it is also a clear requirement of this role to be able to work independently. This role offers significant opportunity to be part of cutting-edge technologies and to work on some of the largest engineering projects in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Working within the existing team structure, company policies and system environment
  • Configuring database and deliverables in SPID in a fully integrated environment
  • Supporting user requests and application support, including symbology as needed.
  • Ensuring database/data integrity and cleanup
  • Building and/or implementing solutions
  • Deployment and work share environment support
  • Conceptual thinker and able to work with complex systems
  • Minimum of a diploma in engineering or computer science
  • Fast learner
  • Possess the soft skills required for interaction with the customer and team members
  • Great communication skills in English to facilitate working with a team located all over the globe
