The e2e Engineer/ Specialist is accountable for the timely development and delivery of complex engineering tasks in a service consultative engagement with customers to optimize the use of applications and smartphones. It involves service performance assessment, audits and performance enhancements (optimization) . A key strategic objective of the position is to interface with the Cient Global community (CaDe, SSMs, Product teams etc) and to negotiate support and tech transfer from these contacts (Specialist role) Language skill : Must be good in written and oral communication in EnglishSoftware skill : Must be having working knowledge in MS office including excel, word, power point , outlook etc. Working knowledge in MS Project is desirable.Technical Skill : Provides technical service optimization support to assist customers. Would be involved in service consultative engagement with customers to optimize the use of different applications and smartphones on the new mobile broadband networks with faster data speed and improved qualityKey focus is to support the customer during the Network optimization phase and improve end user experience of the data networkIdentify service issues and drive the network team in optimizing the issue in the relevant domainResponsibilities include meetings with the customer, document writing and interactions with NSN local units to clarify customer needsApplies Global best practices work instructions/ processes/ tools ensuring high quality and timely deliveriesApplies knowledge and skills to analyze and resolve complex network problems SD Representation in customer/ project interface and acts like a Single Point of Contact for all technical/ project related matters. (Specialist) Supports the Engineering Manager with general and team management issues (Specialist) Manages technical accountabilities of a small team of technical experts (Specialist) Develops Service Optimisation skills of Junior team members (Specialist) Technical Skills Required: Strong telecom fundamentals Solid understanding of Mobile Core, IP and VAS networks Solid Network planning and Design exposure - Good understanding of operator Business drivers and technologies in the service area Good knowledge of 3GPP standardization especially for applications and Mobile Services Some knowledge of Quality of End- user experience and Quality of Service Some experience in quality measurement and reporting of end- user services mobile networks. Good knowledge of Network Probing tools (focus would be on the IuPS- IP, Gn and Gi Interfaces) and Service performance Measurement tools Potentially experience with mobile packet core or radio network planning optimization Good architectural and technical understanding of various mobile applications/ services , such as browsing protocols, WEB 2.0, TCP/ IP, SIP, WAP, Social Networking, P2P, Gaming and streaming protocols, encoding techniques for streaming, and portal design Knowledge of IP traffic capture tools such as Ethereal , Wire Shark. Ability to isolate service issues and define optimised parameters to tune Strong troubleshooting skills is an added advantage. Good knowledge of excel based (VBA) Macros, Scripts (Perl, SQL e.t.c) preferred Multi- Vendor skills are an added advantage Multi technology skills (CDMA, LTE- EPC, WiMax e.t.c) is an added advantage.,
