SQA AnalystThe Enterprise EyeQ team within the development group at IHS Markit is seeking an experienced SQA Analyst to support development and delivery of Enterprise EyeQ solutions. This team is responsible for the development and support of Enterprise EyeQ product and adding new features and enhancementsto enable strategic and commercial roadmap items in the product line.This role will be responsible for managing and delivering automated testing as well as operational support in cooperation with the rest of the scrum team. The candidate will work closely with the Development team members to develop test strategies, plans and schedules, while adhering to defined quality metrics and requirements. This position requires an individual who is passionate about automation and developing elegant software solutions.Responsibilities
• Design and implement testing strategy and test plans based on system specifications, business requirements or user stories
• Develop and execute Automated test suites
• Design and write maintainable automated feature scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, document and track defects
• Identify and track recurring issues and design automated testing to prevent future recurrence
• Drive innovation and adoption of best practices
• Communicate effectively with all cross-functional team members and stakeholders on technical and non-technical topics
• A basic understanding of the Automotive industry would be beneficial for the role
Skills & Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Java implementations of automated solutions
• Proven work experience in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG with Java implementation
• Experience in creating Automation framework
• Experience with CI/CD and pipeline integration
• Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, stored procedures, and other data manipulation technologies.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Advanced REST client, SOAP UI
• Experience working in an Agile software development organization
• Knowledgeof Testing Management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, and various scripting tools
• Strong Analytical & Communication skills
Preferred skillset
• Experience with Cloud Native (AWS) platforms
• Experience with Docker containers
• Hands-on experience with Automation techniques and technologies
• Ability to translate business requirements to test cases
Education and Experience
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a similar major
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience as Quality Analyst
