    About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe Institutional team at Fidelity International acts as a trusted advisor, expert manager and thought-leading investment partner to institutions globally. Our clients include pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, charities, banks and other institutional investors. We offer a full range of institutional investment strategies and solutions, including our own products and those of other parts of the Fidelity business - Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM) and Geode.Databases are vitally important as they serve as a shop window to enable investment consultants, existing and potential clients to evaluate our company, products and services and ultimately make major investment decisions. Investment consultants such as Mercer, Aon Hewitt and Cambridge Associates are generally appointed by institutional pension fund trustees to assist with asset allocation and providing comprehensive due diligence of Asset Managers. They can be part of assigning a new mandate to meet the clients allocation objectives or providing regular oversight of any assigned assets to ensure that FIL meets the performance objectives and magages the funds within the agreed guidelines.It is crucial that Fidelity provides accurate and up-to-date information which communicates our proposition clearly. The CDB function (London & India) is responsible for maintaining these databases both manually and via automated solutions. In executing its goals, the team works closely with stakeholders in the global institutional business as an active function within the Global Consultant Relations (GCR) team, Request for Proposal (RFP) / Knowledge Management (KMT) teams and also Sales, Product and Data teams.Purpose of the RoleThe primary focus of the role is to support business development across Fidelity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the team that populates Fidelity strategies on all consultant databases.Key Responsibilities
    • Responsible for consultant database submissions (maintenance and population) across all Fidelity International strategies in collaboration with other team members in India.
    • Quarterly and monthly data and information uploads onto full range of databases (including eVestment, Mercer GIMD, CAMRADATA, Invest Connect, AlphaPort) using manual and automated means including eVestment Omni tool and other systems/tools as required.
    • Regular review of existing content to ensure up-to-date
    • Regular/ad hoc consultant relations requests (e.g. quarterly data/information)
    • Overflow for Knowledge Management Team capacity constraints
    • Participation in CDB governance framework (including helping with database Management Information) alongside Consultant Relations Manager
    • Close liaison with Global Consultant Relations (GCR) function, KMT/RFP teams in London and India, content SMEs, Wholesale/DC team stakeholders and FMR/FIC CDB teams to ensure consistency of information going to clients.
    Experience and Qualifications Required
    • Graduate / Post Graduate (CFA / CA / MBA in Finance) with atleast 3 to 5 years experience in Financial services
    • Advantageous to have experience in populating and maintaining consultant databases desired (e.g. eVestment, Mercer GIMD, CAMRADATA, Omni Source etc)
    • Proven ability to accurately manipulate, interpret and interrogate multiple sources of quantitative and qualitative data - strong MS Excel skills are a necessity
    • Highly collaborative individual with ability to communicate clearly to a high standard
    • Team player and able to use initiative
    • Able to adapt to a wide range of required tasks
    • Proactive and positive approach with excellent attention to detail
