Job Description

  • Work experience of 8 to 11 years majorly into hard goods and some exp into soft goods as well with minimum 5 to 6 years in a buying/Liaison Environment.
  • Contract role for 9 months
  • Should have knowledge of Hard goods and soft goods both
  • Sourcing and development activity to support sales and profitability.
  • Accountability on Order Management and supplier base performance improvement
  • Operational planning for the department and managing team.
  • Specialisation in any relevant areas like merchandising, international trade or sourcing operations
  • Exceptional product and sourcing knowledge. Important to cover products like Kitchen utensils, Cutlery, Cookware, Wooden serve and table ware, Towels, Napery, Nursery products, Bathmats, Kids floor coverings, Baskets
  • Team Management experience a must.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation summarising and analysis skills.
  • Travel is required.
  • Supplier negotiation on price, MOQ, delivery and other aspects.
  • Source and develop new suppliers & products at the lowest end to end price in the right time frame by using various tools like TPR study, market trend analysis and market intelligence
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill to liaison between buyers and factories
  • Operational Planning for the department and managing teams.
  • Monitor and manage the orders execution and system update thereof at different stages of critical path.
