Job Description

    We re looking for a Statutory and Tax Specialist who will be part of India Statutory team managing the Statutory financials of India and other multiple countries outside India. The incumbent will be responsible for Preparation of Statutory Financials and managing Internal/external Audits. Responsibilities of Signify India Statutory team are ensuring timely preparation of Statutory financials, managing Direct tax compliances, managing Internal and external Audits and ensuring Internal controls through optimized processes. Technical Know-how on IFRS / Local GAAP and managing multiple internal/external stakeholders from remote location must be in your DNA.Job holder will be part of RtR domain of Accounting Operations and report to Financial Controller - India.What you ll do
    • Ensure accurate preparation of Statutory Financials
    • Ensure accurate and timely statutory filings with a high quality of reporting with no fines or penalties
    • Ensure adequate control over statutory process as reflected in ICS Controls
    • Manage Statutory and Periodic Internal Audits
    • Ability to translate IFRS/GAAP to Local GAAP via statutory adjustments
    • Provide accurate, completed & timely data for statutory reporting, fiscal reporting and other requirements
    • Be the first contact point for external auditors
    • Fulfill requests from regulatory & tax authorities and provide support during fiscal audits
    • Co-ordinate with FSC, Tax Group, MTM , CTM on any other statutory accounting related activities
    • Support Financial Controller in ensuring Internal Controls in the market
    What you ll need
    • Chartered Accountant with 8-12 years of relevant experience
    • Skills/Competencies:
      • Progressive work experience in statutory and IFRS accounting, completing all components of reporting for local legal entities
      • Experience researching and resolving complex accounting issues.
      • Handling External and Internal audit on IFRS/IGAAP, Statutory Laws and Direct/Indirect tax
      • RTR Processes including Trial balance review, consolidation and correction of financial statements
