Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Experienced System Administrator responsible for all aspects of systems administration, including servers, Exchange / Office 365, SharePoint, applications, databases, VMware, Citrix, iScsi, SAN and NAS environments, and UPS systems.
    • Install and maintain servers, operating systems, and other network equipment.
    • Monitor and manage system resources to maintain operating efficiency.
    • Plan and monitor for capacity and performance management.
    • Demonstrate leadership and foster collaborative team approach interact with management providing consultation and expert advice on systems security related topics.
    • Write or modify scripts to resolve performance problems and automate systems administration tasks
    • Maintain system documentation and logs; Project management as assigned.
    • Review system performance statistics; perform system modifications and fixes
    • Perform system vulnerability assessments and conduct trade off studies to recommend methods on countering threats to systems
    • Conduct security risk assessments including the monitoring, investigation and reporting of security and access violations.
    • Perform systems security administration functions as directed, including creating customer profiles and accounts
    • Research, test and evaluate vendor hardware and software products
    • Conduct feasibility studies and develop system, time, equipment and cost requirements.
    • Perform or assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems; correct identified problems
    • Keep current with new information technology security protocols, applicable laws and regulations.
    • Off-hours support as the business requires
    • Provide monitoring and primary response and intervention for information technology-related security incidents and violations.
    QualificationsRequired
    • 3 - 5 years demonstrated experience as a System Administrator
    • Significant experience with Windows Server platforms with an emphasis on Active Directory.
    • Strong background in Exchange / Office 365.
    • 2+ years VMware, setup, management, design
    • 2+ years Citrix, setup, management,design
    • Strong experience SharePoint Server architecture and support.
    • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with Cisco routers & switches, Internet firewalls, and wireless technology and how they tie to production environments for service delivery.
    • Windows scripting skills.
    • Experience setting up and managing database environments such as SQL Server.
    Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or demonstrable equivalent experience
