Job Description

    Looking for candidates who can join on short notice, i.e less than a month. Working with the Architects to understand and implement the proposed solution. Working with the Business Analyst to understand the functional requirements. Working with the team to collaborate on estimating of development effort based on proposed solution Delivery business functionality quickly, efficiently and to a high quality Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision. Raising the productivity and quality of development teams by promoting agile practices and sharing skills through mentoring and/or pairing7+ years of hands on experience in Core Java and J2EE development preferably in WebSphere 7/8/Liberty profile. Experience of designing and implementing Web Services (SOAP, REST, WS-*) Extensive knowledge of design patterns and applicability in real world Extensive knowledge of spring based frameworks and tools Eye for slick performing code Experience of using source code management tools, e.g. Clearcase / SVN Good understanding of Development Methodologies like Test Driven Development Appreciate the business principles involved in a project Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to think laterally, an enquiring mind with good analytical and problem-solving capabilities Display a flexible attitude; be able to thrive in an ever-changing environment. Extensive experience in any of sort of continuous integration environment. Preferable Skills are: Oracle, PL-SQL HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks like Backbone Node.JS Continuous Integration & Development Tools Working Knowledge of LiveSite Application Server and IDOL Working knowledge of HP Deep Diagnostic Tool or CA Wily ToolSkills and Personal Characteristics Hands on developer and a can-do attitude. A deep passion for technology and a love of learning new concepts and technologies. Able to take a creative approach to situations and problem solving. Desire to do things the right way whilst remaining delivery focused Good interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels. Excellent team player,
