About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe Global Technology L&D team is responsible for supporting the Technology & Digital teams globally on learning & development aspects by upskilling talent on Technical and Functional aspects. This team also focuses on creating a growth mindset and continuous learning culture that helps in individual s growth and also help develop a high-performance culture. This will be through the effective implementation of Global Tech L&D operating model, including delivery of core learning solutions that reach individuals and teams across regions consistently.The team also ensures to design effective learning propositions that tie with Technology Strategy using various learning methods and tools to build strong tech talent capability as well as result in effective career vitality.Purpose of your roleThe Tech L&D Specialist will be responsible to implement and contribute to the skills & competency framework used in Technology & Digital teams. This will require working with the business functions and leadership to understand the gaps and expectations. This role would also require working closely with the Tech L&D team as one of the expected outcomes the Skills framework is to be able to design and offer appropriate learning paths for the roles. Skills framework is an integral part of the L&D strategy and therefore it willrequire for the role to closely work and support the L&D team and learning initiatives. Being aware of industry practices would also be an integral part as bringing external knowledge to create fitting solution for Fidelity (T&D teams) will be critical. This role will require to be inclined towards Technology and a strong client service orientation. Project management skills and basic understanding of adult learning principles are essential to this role.Key Responsibilities

  • To be the subject matter expert on the skills & competency framework and contact point for queries
  • Provide support on how to best utilise framework for individuals and teams
  • Explain and guide users on linkage between MEE framework and L&D Learning Paths
  • Run training or awareness sessions with areas
  • Support to aid the rollout of the framework across teams
  • Liaise with development team to ensure any framework changes are reflected in the websites
  • Support plans to increase engagement and communication across T&D teams
  • Identify and deliver improvements to the processes, materials and websites
  • Assist in preparation of materials for leadership and other core group meetings
  • Owning and running process for maintaining the skills & competency framework
  • Support the L&D processes & initiatives
  • Active use of data analytics
  • Curator of knowledge and learning resources
  • Participate in the Identification and design of new and different interventions, approaches, and channels to enable effective learning and development across the business
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Experience on managing & implementing competency framework
  • Experience as a learning specialist for Technology
  • Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills and experience with dashboards, MI, analytics - will be an added advantage
  • Experience in the design of learning interventions
  • Commercial knowledge & understanding
  • Relationship management with learning suppliers
  • Experience of using/implementing digital learning solutions
  • Digital thinker
  • Ability to support a rapidly changing business/consumer world with an ability to constantly learn, unlearn and re-learn as appropriate.
