This team is responsible for end-to-end solution testing and implementation of IP/MPLS transport network for multiple services. What you will learn and contribute to In this role, you will be working closely with presales team to prove the proposed solutions/product features to the customers. It is required to educate and persuade the customers about the solutions and technical merits of the Nokia IP products while executing the Proof of Concept for a given product or solutionKey responsibilities:
• During pre-sale stage, identify key Use Cases & get agreement on key acceptance criteria for Proof of Concepts to be delivered.
• Derive products and solution requirements into deployable/testable design in the lab.
• Perform requirements and risk analysis for a given solution & test plan.
• Develop E2E Solution Architecture and support the High-Level Design part of new products & solutions.
• Determine a Physical and Logical Solution Architecture; analyze and evaluate alternative solutions; define subsystems and system elements and requirements.
• Proactively seek to identify and address technical risks. In co-operation with PLM, conduct risk assessments on the project; identifying and executing mitigation strategies to limit impact
• Review roadmap alignment with solution to be implemented with PLM engagement.
• Provide key inputs and be accountable for technical decisions relating to system requirements and system architecture/design.
• During Post-sale phase, support solution Architect & design team to finalize the High- & Low-level design for projects involving new products, solutions, technologies or key features.
• Support design validations for NPI projects & Acceptance Testing
Your skills and experience
• A bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP/MPLS technologies (IGP, LDP/RSVP/SR, L2/L3 services) and value-added services, such as BNG, NAT, IPSec, Firewall)
• Knowledgeable on Virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.
• Strong exposure to testing equipment s like IXIA, SPIRENT
• Must have presentation skill and comfortable talking with customers/public
• Knowledgeable on Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.
• Must be hands-on (love to get hands dirty)
• Excellent in designing networking equipment for Carrier, SDN and NFV Solutions and Concepts covering Anyhaul and Core Networks
• Strong Linux/Unix shell and Datacenter networking knowledge
• Hands-on experience including design, build, deploy, troubleshooting & fault-finding, etc.
• Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.
