The role is also responsible for short term and project specific stakeholder and customer relationships.Youll have the following responsibilities Key Responsibilities q Experienced in all stages of the project lifecycle.q Will demonstrate a drive to deliver below cost expectations and where possible ahead of time but not at the expense of the contracted deliverable s quality or end to end financial profile of the project. That is able to deliver work within agreed time, cost & quality.q Able to deliver benefit to customer satisfaction. Also able to build long term relationships with our customers based on development of a shared vision. This relationship should be based on honesty, trust and good communication.q Able to demonstrate communication, diplomacy & persuasion skills.q Able to manage internal & external inputs & dependencies.q Able to act as the main contact for a supplier.q Able to identify & mitigate risks.q Able to participate in post-project reviews and to adopt lessons learnedq Able to deliver benefit to customer satisfaction.q Able to estimate project activities.q Able to create & maintain project plans.q Able to manage risks, issues & dependencies.q Able to monitor & control standard complexity projects.q Able to chair project meetings, involving clients & suppliers.q Able to deal with stakeholders, customers and suppliers, specific to project needsq Able to build and maintain internal and external relationships to assist current and future deliveryq Able to lead a small team comprising of project professionals - Project leader, Project Manager and other supporting rolesq As part of leadership, he is expected to demonstrate adherence to all leadership capability behaviours and will demonstrate effective Stakeholder Management both within and outside BT. Youll have the following skills & experienceSkills: Project Management/ delivery responsibility for planning and co-ordinating small scale projects for WAN/LAN or related products Ability to deliver contracted work on time, within budget, enabling the expected business benefit Ability to prioritise work with little guidance onhow to perform tasks Ability to drive project change and raise risks and issues as appropriate. Ability to drive user acceptance testing and handover to operations. Ability to chair project meetings, involving clients & suppliers.Ability to plan and manage project tasks following defined processes and methodologies.Experience: Experience of owning simple project/s as part of a larger projectand a proven record of successful delivery. Relevant working experience in similar role Adequate knowledge of networking and telecom products & services High standard of written and spoken English. Highly Numerate. Competence in Windows based tools (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access)Escalation management and complaint handling Eligibility Criteria As per IJP guidelines Note - If you have an active PIP/Disciplinary sanctions then you cannot apply for a role internally for the duration of that sanction. In circumstances when you are in a disciplinary process but the outcome hasn t been reached or there is an active appeal then you can apply, however, the Offer could be withdrawn if, subsequently, you re issued with a sanction or your appeal is unsuccessful.
