Job descriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesAt least 8 10 years relevant DevOps, tools development and release management experienceExpert level understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes and theoryExpert level with Linux toolchainExtensive experience with scripting languages such as Python, bash, Ruby or GroovyExpert level with Git, Gerrit, GNU Make or CMakeHighly proficient in the use of Linux OS for supporting all tools running in Linux ecosystemProficient in Yocto, Open Embedded and Bit bakeHighly proficient in the use and administration of Atlassian tool suite, particularly JIRA, and ConfluenceHighly proficient in the use of Jenkins or equivalent Continuous Integration platformsProficient in GitHub Actions.Highly proficient in the release management practicesStrong awareness of security as it applies to release management (signing images, protection of online assets, etc.) and security vulnerabilitiesStrong background in programming with C/C++ and embedded systemsSolid understanding of Virtualization, Containers and DockerKnowledge of any/all of Perl, awk or SedExperience with DevOps tools to manage infrastructure as code, such as TerraformExperience with static code analysis tools such as Coverity, Klocwork or SonarExperience with setting up and administering cloud services such as Azure or AWSExperience with setting up automated test beds and test frameworks such as PyTest or PyUnitBasic understanding of Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes
