Job Description

We are currently looking for a Rights of Way Inspector to join our Highways team to be responsible for undertaking safety inspections on the Right of Way network include metalled rights of way.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this exciting Rights of Way Inspector role, youll inspect and assess the general condition of the rights of way network, 20% of the network to be inspected annually in accordance with RoWIP. The inspections will be carried out in accordance with the Highway Safety Inspection Manual and the Code of Practice Well Managed Highways Infrastructure. Youll be also responsible for the categorising, logging and entering defects onto the asset management and recommend sites for comprehensive maintenance to be included in the Capital programme. In addition, youll manage your own programme of walked inspections each month.What do we need from you Full driving licence essential Lantra accredited Highways inspection certificate preferable Education in a relevant discipline or suitable level of experience in an environmental area would be advantageous.
