Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our team!Responsibilities:
    • Oversee Daily Housekeeping Operations:
      • Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
      • Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff.
      • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and provide constructive feedback to staff.
      • Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring timely restocking.
    • Team Leadership and Development:
      • Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and guest service standards.
      • Motivate and empower housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
      • Address performance concerns and implement corrective action plans as needed.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the housekeeping team.
    • Guest Relations and Service:
      • Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services.
      • Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.
      • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance) to resolve guest issues efficiently.
    • Administrative Duties:
      • Maintain housekeeping logs and records as required.
      • Prepare reports on housekeeping performance metrics (e.g., room inspection scores, guest satisfaction surveys).
      • Assist with housekeeping budget management and cost-control initiatives.
      • May perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
    Qualifications:
    • Graduation from IHM or similar institute.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role (hotel, resort, or similar environment preferred).
    • Strong understanding of housekeeping principles, cleaning procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach staff.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and staff.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions to guest concerns promptly.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred.
