Job Description

    Investigation AnalystExp-Location- Karnataka Bagalkot,Bangalore,Belgaum,Bellary,Bidar,Bijapur,Chamrajnagar,Chikmagalur,Chitradurga,Dakshin Kannada,Davangere,Dharwad,Gadag,Gulbarga,Hassan,Haveri,Kodagu,Kolar,Koppal,Mandya,Mangalore,Mysore,Raichur,Shimoga,Tumkur,Udupi,Uttar KannadaNp- 15days to ImmediateProcessing of auto matching within Reconciliations systemManual matching of outstanding breaks from all branches.Investigations and allocation on outstanding breaks.Completing all tasks on checklists and adhoc requests, such as SOX etc.Maintain checklists, ensuring all actions are completed in correct order and within timeframe.Reconciliation of interest statements and account charges whilst maintaining accurate records,raising and resolving any discrepancies.Perform all outstanding reports, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly for London and EMEAbranches.Review all reports, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly for London and EMEA branches beforesubmission.Actioning all reports within time frames given with no errors.Ensure correctness of investigation of unapplied funds until correct/sufficient resolution.Ensuring that tasks are completed, all checklists are adhered to and any issues are escalatedwhere appropriate.Contribute to the team monthly.Participate in effective cross training for other members of staff.Conduct UAT and testing when called upon.Escalate in a timely manner.Attend meetings when required, and provide feedback of discussions.Direct escalation of breaks relates to fraud, suspicious activity or compliance & sanctions reasons toCDM, INV & Recs in London.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTo ensure completion of expected processing by Reconciliations, with accuracy, compliance toprocedures and regulations, and within expected time frames.Ensure staff training is completed fully and all team members have had access to the components tocomplete their role effectively and accurately.Ensuring processes are fit for purpose, through investigation of alternative options and escalationreporting when improvements identified and analysed.Reconciliation of breaks, within parameters set for each EMEA branch.For relevant branches; investigation, reconciliation or allocation of breaks correctly.Completion of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports within timeframes and with accuracy.Escalation of breaks relates to fraud, suspicious activity or compliance & sanctions reasons.Manage breaks, allocations and resolutions in line with branches regulatory (such as CASS breaks).Ensure work is completed within well established SLA s between London and EMEA.Refer to London SME for any queries which fall out of scope of agreed transfer process.Provide in a timely manner evidence and documents, when requested by MUFG external and InternalAuditors.Provide in a timely manner evidence and documents, when requested by MUFG SOX or CDM, INV &Recs team.Reconcile London Suspense accounts as detailed in procedures.Escalate and agreed, resolve issues with failed import statements.Liaise with London CDM, INV & Recs team for the maintenance of Balance Pools and Accounts onIntelliMatch.Liaise with London Tec for system issues in a timely manner, escalating if needed.Action, review and ensure the correct calculation of interest and charges, and creation of instructionsheets for clearance.Sign-off all processes completed in accordance with the checklists and procedures.Liaise with SME s in London CDM, INV & Recs team for guidance and assistance on breaks and issues
