Job Description

What You ll Do:

Responsibilities:

  • Understand requirements, Prepare / Update test cases based on the requirements for features, implementing parts or in whole for Quark Enterprise Solution Clients/QXP Business/QXP
  • Create Test Data, Execute Test Cases, Report test results / metrics,
  • Analyze bugs, errors found during tests
  • Tracks Defects to closure and communicates on key QA project metrics
  • Co-ordinate / discuss with developers/stakeholders as required
  • Apprise the QA Lead of the status on regular basis.
  • Ability to clearly understand per project basis
    • Requirements
    • Existing product features and overall solution
  • Install, Deploy, configuration and Demo product at feature level, must have excellent knowledge on complete product lifecycle.
  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
  • Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
  • Quickly adapt with regular switching of client assignments; based on priorities without significantly impacting productivity
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
  • Full time position based in Chandigarh

What we re looking for:

Minimum Qualification:

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/MTech/ from premier institute in computer science or related field
  • Around 1-2 years of experience in the Quality Assurance area, operating at a similar level
  • Knowledge of various software testing methods (e.g. Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance, Performance)
  • Should be fluent in Core Java & JavaScript. Expertise in JSP, Ajax and other web technologies /frameworks development (spring)
  • High proficiency in computer technology, Databases and programming languages
  • Proven experience in C& C . (modern C e.g. C 11, C 14 is a plus) and object-oriented design
  • In-depth understanding of Java, Python, SQL and XML
  • Experience writing libraries or apps on iOS or Android. (Objective-C, Android Java, Kotlin).
  • Understanding of web browser technology / JavaScript engines.
  • Hands on experience on system test tools such as Selenium, LoadRunner, etc.
  • Must have a strong record of delivering the tasks on schedule.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
  • Deep understanding of overall systems development life cycle including various methodologies (agile, waterfall, iterative).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Exposure to TFS and MS Build or equivalent systems
  • Experience with open source technologies
  • Extensive experience in software development and testing
