Job Description

Job Purpose (In a brief, specific one or two-sentence statement, answer the questions: Why does this position exist and What is it expected to accomplish ) This position is to support CBG Head with various requirements which are linked to both the day-today functioning of the bank as well as strategic projects. Key Accountabilities (List the expected end results or KPIs that the job holder is expected to achieve for this job. Do not list more than 5) Process: Help to monitor projects and initiatives by assisting in operation and delivery (timeliness, quality, scope) Financial: Financial Performance Management: assist in the regular assessment of financial performance and facilitation/ coordination/ monitoring of business initiatives and necessary actions in a timely manner. Help monitoring strategic priorities support performance by assisting revenue and cost initiatives, report on strategic priorities and deliver meaningful analysis Projects/ People: Build/ maintain active working relationships with group (where appropriate) and IMC, HODs, Branch heads, and other key stakeholders within the businesses to facilitate communication, collaboration and smooth execution of all important projects Assist in external partnerships/representations Monitor external & internal sources relevant for the bank s overall strategy: including market trends, and external developments; Also engage relevant stakeholders to gather such key information. Job Duties & responsibilities (List the principal duties. Use concise statements that provide a clear understanding of the level of responsibility, complexity, creativity and analysis performed in this position.) Assist in developing and finalizing presentations for senior management, DBS Group, regulators, etc o Typical content involves demonstrating department s performance against budgets, peer banks, etc. o Presentation content to be prepared using a big picture, strategic mindset. i.e. by understanding financial results and analysing key trends and drivers; Monthly/Quarterly semi-annual reporting in required formats Assist in tracking performance against CBG scorecards & KPIs for mid-year and final review Consolidate CBG India update for DBS Group/India annual report Track DBS Group Economic Research on a real time basis, particularly wrt India Closely track macro trends and regulations which could affect business performance Regular updates to HO on performance of India franchise Tracking macro and regulatory environment Required Experience 10- 12 years of experience in banks / Retail segment / Risk & Governance or Strategic planning roles. COO office experience could be added advantage Education / Preferred Qualifications Professional qualification, graduate or post-graduate degree Core Competencies

    3. Good Relationship/stakeholder Management skills.
