Job Description

    • Work as a Lead Devops Engineer, Build and maintain the Devops pipeline, Continuous integration, and continuous deployment, for providing a fully automated capability.
    Business
    • Responsible for End-to-End Devops & related infra management tasks aligned with Cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
    • Build integration pipeline for automated deployment, testing, code scans, code version control etc, using Bank s Standard Devops Platform & tools. Additionally, perform access management, Cloud integration, build and maintain configuration of Virtual infrastructure, capacity planning, Issue analysis debugging, Configuration management, Instrumentation via Automation, Monitoring etc.
    Processes
    • Ensure adherence to Change & incident management process by Coordination and working with other teams in the organization for getting a release deployed into production.
    Risk Management
    • Work in coordination with Production support & SRE teams to maintain stability of production applications via controlled, automated deployments with minimal outages and impact
    Governance
    • Document detailed Unit test results, application functionality, design etc in Confluence and JIRA s with supporting evidences & test cases
    • Embrace Devops methodology for Dev, Build and Deploy and work in Agile delivery model.
    • Coordinate UAT and system integration testing.
    • Answer user queries support UAT/SIT/PT & other related activities
    • Provide updates to the project / program manager with regards to progress and issues, where appropriate
    Regulatory & Business Conduct
    • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
    • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.     • Lead the [FCSO TM / FCC Link Analysis (Quantexa)] to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    Technical Skills
    • 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes & Elastic search with Kibana
    • Hands-on experience with Git & Bitbucket (or GitHub)
    • Hands-on experience with Jenkins (v2.x), ability to write pipeline script.
    • Sound Knowledge on the following tools
    • Ansible
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes (v1.11 or higher) Self managed
    • Elasticsearch (6.x or higher) ELK (added as advantage)
    • Working knowledge on Linux environment (Administration will be an added advantage)
    • Working knowledge on Postgres DB (or any other DB)
    • Basic knowledge on build tools (Gradle 5.2 or higher)
    • Basic knowledge on Artifactory, JIRA
    • Shell scripting

    • Proven ability to work within a team environment
    • Ability to work with multiple tasks based on priorities and switching between deliverables.
    • Highly effective verbal and written English communication & presentation skills.
    • Ability to quickly understand and articulate problems and solutions
