Job Description

• Strong knowledge of Energy, Base and Precious Metals, Agriculture and ESG product trading and risk management. Provides first-hand support to traders and sales
• Understanding of risk management, including linear and structured products, both listed and OTC derivatives.
• Document Business requirements for the specific functionalities, act as a conduit between the Front Office desk and developers
• Ability to comprehend the phased delivery approach and work on specific goals at a certain point of time
• Work closely with Senior/mid-level business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the process and solution to be delivered, liaise with vendors and work closely with them on deliveries.
• Work along developer teams to evaluate and choose the best solutions to meet business needs
• Setup and support Exchange execution systems like Web ICE, LME SELECT, CME Direct, TT Web
• Experience to work in an agile environment with multiple control functions product control, market and credit risk, regulatory operations and regulatory tech, compliance etc.
• Responsible for the delivery front to end and provide first level support to the desk
People and Talent
• Worked as a BA / PO within Commodities space
• Worked on Big multiyear projects with phased deliveries with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience working with teams spread geographically
• Self-motivator, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of basic code, STP, FIX messages etc.
• Previous experience working with ECN s like Web ICE, LME SMART, CME Direct and vendor systems
Risk Management
• Experienced Business Analyst with experience working for Banks or FI s.
• Experience in facing off to Front Office users i.e. Traders, sales and structurers.
• Experience in Commodities is a must; strong knowledge in at least one asset class - Base Metals, Energy, Precious Metals.
• Knowledge of Risk Metrics, P&L Attribution, VaR, Risk metrics a must to have. Understanding of key risk parameters for liner and complex products
• Good knowledge of complete trade lifecycle from inception to settlement
• Experience in Derivatives and Physical Commodities and how Risk is captured and treated across OTC and listed products
• Experience working with market data, curve publishing including Vol smiles.

• Commodities Front Office users including Sales, Trading, Structuring. Control functions including product control, market risk, credit risk, regulatory ops, reg tech, operations etc
Our Ideal Candidate
• Agile Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner preferred
• Commodities experience Oil, NG, Base Metals
• Understanding risk, trade lifecycle
• Physical and financial derivatives for Commodities
• Experience working with Exchange execution systems
• Technical understanding of FIX, STP, code
• Experience with control functions market, credit risk, product control
• Ability to work with developers and explain the business requirements
• Experience working with Market data- prices and vols
• Provide hands on support to Front Office users
• Face off to vendors and document requirements, test cases and delivery plans
