Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • Work with the application and technical architecture teams to plan one or more of the following: component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance, and technical architecture tests.
  • Perform test plan development and test execution to ensure that testing is on time and within budget.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across all test phases
  • Follow the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.
  • Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards.
  • Exposure to integration testing using View Models /API s
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 year s experience in Quality Assurance discipline.
  • 3 years implementation experience with P&C Insurance software applications
  • Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software
  • Experience preparing and executing component, assembly, product, user acceptance tests.
  • Experience using and managing defect tracking systems
  • Experience in reporting on progress during each test phase to ensure that the application is tested and that it meets or exceeds expectations
  • Experience translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product and user acceptance testing
  • Experience with automated testing software applications like TAC and/or QTP.
  • Experience with implementation of Duck Creek Example Platform solutions for Policy Administration and/or Billing desired.
  • Certifications in P&C insurance principles for personal and commercial lines preferred
