Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Full Stack, UX + Java + Cloud Software Engineer in our Markets Post Trades team. You will be working as an individual contributor in a distributed agile team dedicated to building out the Markets Regulatory Data Platform as the next-gen cloud hosted data management platform, and make significant contributions to the design, development and dev-ops of the service. If you are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices, this is the team for you.Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA/MS/MTECH in Computer Science or a related field
  • Significant development experience with Java 11+, Java 8+ will also be considered
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies, with emphasis on high availability services at scale
  • In depth practical understanding and experience on distributed systems, microservices and cloud native patterns
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment, working remotely when required and getting up to speed with new technologies quickly
Technical Skills:
  • Significant development on Java 11+, also acceptable to have Java 8+ experience
  • Demonstrable design and architecture pattern skills
  • Experience on cloud native microservice frameworks - Spring Boot 2+ strongly preferred, good to have Helidon/Quarkus/Micronaut
  • Experience on deploying and dev-ops support to cloud stacks - any of Kubernetes+Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Openshift
  • Experience with managing cloud resiliency patterns and observability tools - any of Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Sleuth, Dynatrace
  • Experience with chaos engineering, chaos testing and TDD
  • DevOps practices and CI/CD
  • Good to have Angular 6+ or React or equivalent modern Javascript web application framework, and HTML, CSS
