In this role, you will be leading all the technical aspects of Digital experience transformation, Monotype is doing across its 5 global digital properties. This position will require a strong leader and communicator able to build partnership with key leaders across the organization, lead through ambiguity, build and execute against well-defined plans, and move the organization towards a vision of delivering a best-in-class digital consumer experience. Your responsibilities will include business roadmap strategy, architecture, planning, and end-to-end executions. You will have direct responsibility for technical design, development, quality, and should also be a hands-on engineering leader. The successful candidate will lead and grow multiple engineering teams and serve as a leader for Monotype s Digital experience transformation journey. This is a role where you transition seamlessly between leadership roles & technical details, at times dropping into architecture and code to help the team meet its objectives while also keeping your technical skills sharp. What we re looking for: Professional experience of 13 years or above. Experience transforming digital experience for customers across multiple channels, preferably e-commerce on the following tech stack: ReactJs, NodeJs, AWS, PHP, MySQL. Experience rolling out e-commerce solutions on Shopify or Shopify Plus is desirable. Experience with Content Management Systems, Identity, Product Information System is a plus. Ability to understand the consumer s POV and consider it when making business decisions in a strong and trusted partnership with the Chief Product Owner. Understanding of web design: user-centered research and analysis, information architecture strategy and development, content strategy, web design, and usability best practices. Strong domain experience on A/B testing, NPS, UX research, qual/quant to ensure the voice of the consumer is front and center. Previous experience with Google Analytics, tag management, SEO, and other site tools to inform strategy and optimization. Experience building, motivating and managing a team of high performing professionals including other managers and architects. Expert in hiring and developing engineers to setup autonomous and high performing teams. Demonstrated strategic planning and execution skills. Ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues. Experience working in an Agile development environment. LEAD the ongoing platform modernization to migrate to a microservices serverless cloud platform.
