Required Educational Qualification: BCA / MCA / B.TechRequired Skills && Attributes: Must have 1-4 (for L1), 4-7 (for L2) years of experience in backup operational support Strong exposure on EMC Networker && EMC Avamar Knowledge on Druva would be of additional advantage Extensive knowledge of backup of Tape Libraries && EMC Data Domain devices Knowledge of backing up online databases && Virtual Servers Knowledge && Troubleshooting skills in resolving backup failures Proactive reporting && capturing critical issues in the environment Must possess the ability to craft innovative technical solutions in a challenging environment Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis. Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both in written form of emails, ticket comments, andverbally; as well as internally and on the phone with customers.Job Responsibilities: Setup and administer storage units and storage devices, Tape Libraries and Data Domain Provide product support for EMC Networker, Avamar && Druva. Analyzing the OS && Backup logs, alert logs, Warning logs and other trace files and diagnosing problems. Manage EMC Networker && Avamar solutions for various client platforms and backup types such as fileservers, online databases, desktops && virtual servers etc. Monitor daily backup activity and reporting to proactively avoid issues and troubleshoot missed andfailed backup jobs. Create and update documentation for backup procedures, solutions, licensing and applicable projectartifacts.Required to support different shifts to enable 24x7 support and must be available on call as && whenrequired. SLA adherence and attainment. Meeting compliance && reporting requirements.
