Job Description

    Job Purpose: Project Lead -- Responsible for managing of the Projects and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of a project. The overall responsibility is to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget and that it meets or exceeds quaility expectations. The PM also ensures that the projects are aligned with IT standards and strategies. Key responsibilities and accountabilities --
    • The PL is responsible for leading all aspects of a general information technology project or multiple, small-scale IT projects or Large IT projects. This includes project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost in order to manage the completion of work for a specific area.
    • The PL controls the critical path, contingencies, scope changes and budget (both labor and non-labor).
    • The PL coordinates the day-to-day activities of the project team from original concept through final implementation and ensures that resources are used efficiently.
    • The PL works with Key stakeholders to define requirements and delivery milestones for new projects. Additionally responsible for creating milestones and performance indicators.
    • The PL adheres to established project management methodologies and standards while carrying out their responsibilities. This includes applying project management and systems lifecycle processes to information technology projects.
    • The PL maintains agreed levels of continuity consistent with customer requirements, group policies and regulatory requirements. This may include managing the effective resolution of serious or complex incidents or problems, ensuring adequate steps are taken to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
    • The PL works on Financial management including budgeting, forecasting and obtaining funding from Sponsors.
    • The PL is responsible for managing the third party vendor work, contractors and suppliers across the Project.
    • The PL is responsible for integration activities and delivery of technical documentation.
    • The PL is responsible for high level project reports to stakeholders, working group executives, and PMO.
    Knowledge, skills and experience: Essential
    • Prince2 or PMP Certification
    • Experience in Infrastructure project management is preferred
    • Understanding on Project Management life cycle is must
    • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrable experience of working effectively within collaborative service and operational team structures, ideally in a technology
    • Experience of managing and maintaining effective processes and procedures in a complex multi system, multi-site environment support service environment
    • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and maintain attention to detail at all times
    • Ability to analyse and simplify complex problems and to be able to communicate this to others at all levels
