If you have a need for flexibility, then please discuss this with the Hiring Manager.Works as an analyst for end-to-end understanding of finance processes, data sheets and finance applications Works independently to elicit, validate and document business requirements, business processes and input into organisation solution design, wherever necessary Liaison with business users and obtain sign-off on UAT Proactive follow-up on issues and actions with stakeholders and ensure that the programme lead is kept informed on any roadblocks Work with stakeholders (tech. and business) to analyse issues and propose solutionsWhat will you be doing Gather and interpret the financial statements to collate data for analysis Support building project material and training documents. Create Training Needs analysis and oversee implementation (incl. creation of training/scheduling/conduct training sessions as necessary) Liaison with functions across Barclays such as Technology, Risk, Human Resources, Financial control, Product Control, etc., to elicit requirements for solution design & mitigation of risks and issues Identifies, assesses and manages project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate via the agreed governance framework. Present findings, requirements and problem statements to project lead and stakeholders with supporting documentation Propose and gain senior stakeholder support for project delivery. This may include significant engagement of senior stakeholders across Barclays Manage the documentation of the existing and to-be business processes within business areas, including holding structured workshops, utilising standard methodology, to extract information from key stakeholders Ensures projects being managed are compliant with relevant governance methodologies (e.g. iCompass / SDLC / Agile and Navigator) Ensures projects being managed are compliant with the central ePMO function s directives, initiatives and change handbook Ensures compliance to QA per Change Framework and initiates other assurance activities where required.What we re looking for:Excellent understanding of Barclays finance applications and ability to interpret financial statements Strong ability in logical and analytical thinking; should be able to produce business case/ documents and engage with stakeholders Desire to provide top quality service to internal clients and especially when interactions spans across many different areas, where no necessary linkages between the areas Strong interpersonal skills to work with people across functions and bands Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project and Project Planning & Control tools Strong control awarenessSkills that will help you in the role:.Knowledge of Finance & Accounting (F&A) and management accounting processes and procedures Accountancy or book keeping experience Experience within Barclays in a finance operational role Track record in completing projects/assignments, including both business requirements gathering and testing Knowledge of MS Project and Project Planning & Control toolsWhere will you be working NoidaBe More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
