Job Description

    Job Responsibilities:- Sales and Business development: Primary responsibility would be to build a nationwide network of top tier wealth managers, brokers and IFAs. Prospecting for potential institutional partners. Identifying decision-makers through research and building relationships with them. Sales would primarily be B2B2C.- Team building and managing salesforce: Eventually building and leading a team of salespersons and RMs. Hiring them and training them for the job.- Pitching: Pitching to potential partners such as mutual fund distributors, wealth managers, stock brokers, financial advisors, banks and other relevant entities. Planning approaches and pitches, developing proposals that address the company and partners mutual needs, concerns, and objectives. Driving down the product USPs with effective product communiques.- Deal closure and onboarding: Coordinating with partner decision-makers and the companys management for deal closure. Onboarding the partners on our platform.- Networking and relationship building: Maintaining relationships with partners on an ongoing basis. Handling objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Ensuring compliance with rules, regulations and laws.- Exploring new avenues of growth: Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meeting potential partners by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your professional network.Qualifications and Requirements:Work experience:- 10+ years of work experience in institutional distribution for mutual funds, AMCs or insurance.- Work experience in investment banks, merchant banks, bank treasury, funds, rating agencies, broking, banking, equity sales or equity research would also be considered if the candidate is knowledgeable and passionate.- Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, team building, team management.- Good networking skills. Proven experience in building relationships with decision-makers. Connect with HNIs and family offices would be an added advantage.Education:- Educational background in finance, commerce, accounting, business administration or similar fields would be preferred. Engineering candidates with relevant work experience and knowledge would also be considered.- MBA is preferred.,
