Job Description

    B.E/BTech/MTech or equivalent degreeWe are looking for a talented technical writer to help us create easy-to-understand content for the EDA tools. You will be a part of a team of Technical writers working closely with engineering, product marketing, and customer support to create content that provides information on product features, with an objective of speeding up product adoption and helping users advance from a novice to a power user. You will be responsible for continuously upgrading, editing, and revising content to ensure technical accuracy of the content w.r.t latest version of the software.As a part of your job, you will be required to:Get an in-depth understanding of the assigned productsWork with cross-functional teams to produce and maintain end-user documentation, including User Guides, Deployment/ Installation Guides, and Tutorials/Getting started guidesReview and suggest changes to UI text and Product messages as per Cadence standardsCreate product-related videos and blog posts for posting on company sites and social media as requiredMinimum RequirementsBachelors degree in any relevant technical fieldAt least 3-4 of core Technical Documentation experienceExcellent English writing and editing skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.Knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker and MS Office.Good skills to haveWork experience in electronics/EDA software documentation.Experience of working in any structured authoring toolExperience in UNIX, Wiki, graphical tools, Adobe Captivate,
