At IT Infrastructure, we set up, maintain and optimize Nokia s enterprise computing and networking capabilities; we administer and continuously advance our Digital Workplace; and we grant IT support to a global community of end-users. On top of keeping our end-users satisfied every day, our immediate strategic priority is to progress rapidly in our aggressive digital transformation and in our journey towards a cloud-based environment. In IT Infrastructure, you are part of a team that is redefining IT and shaping the future of Nokia.IT Network Engineering manages globally the life cycle, delivery, quality and performance of the networking infrastructure of Nokia. Public and Private Cloud, Datacenters, Security, IP services and all other aspects of connectivity for Nokia offices and partners. Network Tools Administrator is responsible for IT Network tools management, incident ticket, change ticket, problem ticket for network tools with complete knowledge of functionality, configuration, performance, and recovery of Tools server. This is a position in IT network tools operations for enabling reliable service operation.

  • Work in operations support model and on-call support for incident
  • Handle network tools ticket for node addition, deletion, change
  • Manage network tool server upgrade, incident, and resolution
  • Work with network tool vendor TAC team for escalated incident and track to closure
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Network Tools and services
  • Experience in managing and supporting network infrastructures
  • Strong ability to understand the network alerts, events, or issues
  • Certification from any of network tool vendor would be preferred
  • Good understanding on network technologies TCP/IP, TCP/IP Flow control and DNS
  • Work with Network and Systems Administrators for troubleshooting incidents
  • Maintain, configure and utilize new and existing monitoring tools such as, SolarWinds NPM, NCM,
  • Experience in Nokia Network service platform tool would be added advantage
  • Working experience in Netbrain tool
  • Experience in enterprise network tools environment for large enterprise
  • Strong understanding in Tools access management and experience in TACACS and Radius server
  • Ability to testing tool feature in lab and build the standardization
  • Manage application monitoring tool
  • Installation, configuration experience in Solarwinds NPM Server and Solarwinds NCM Server
  • Experience in Moogsoft tools would be added advantage
  • Strong understanding on the FCAPS tool framework and its purpose
  • Working experience in event correlation and suppression
  • Experience in network automation and scripting
  • Knowledge and experience in workflow management and change orchestration
  • Ability to generate network tool reporting and customize reports
  • Good understanding with routing, OSPF, BGP protocols for tool monitoring
  • Good knowledge on Enterprise wired and wireless network, firewalls, virtualization, load balancing and SD-WAN technologies
  • Experience in with DHCP and IP address mgmt.
  • Experience in Windows server and Linux handling
  • Knowledge on Virtualization fundamentals
  • Knowledge on Cloud Compute engine & DB will be preferred
  • Basic understanding of common IT Infrastructure architecture and frameworks
  • Requirement gathering experience
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Eager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/her self
