Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Opps. Support - Track Lead In this role, you would be a Track Lead for the team supporting Control M, NetBackup, CFT, Secure Transport, MQ Series, Connect Direct, Windows, Unix and Storage Along with L1 support teams like DCO and Helpdesk. This position will supervise and improve delivery execution, reporting, and communication standards. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs. Responsibilities

  • Lead team of Senior/Junior and L3 support staff
  • Lead and motivate team to handle work and complex situations
  • Implement required policies and procedures for incident, problem and change management
  • Take care and own (as necessary) complex incidents, service requests, problems/root cause analysis and changes relating to business requirements
  • Ensure service performance expectations are met with service levels and quality
  • Supervise and continuously improve key service delivery processes
  • Help in planning and supporting critical service center projects
  • Ensure process adherence for the service center projects
  • Supervise and track service center provisioning and actual efforts
  • Raise/bring up any issues and risks to client and partner and leadership for any impact on the service center projects
  • Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly
  • Helping with project planning will be an additional responsibility
Qualifications we seek in you Minimum qualifications
  • BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge of ITIL, integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management)
  • Knowledge about applications like Control M, MQ Series, CFT, Secure Transport, Connect Direct
  • Client management and vendor management
  • Capabilities to lead/manage a team of 5 to 7 Senior/Junior team members
  • Organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Understanding of the latest database technology stack and IT landscape
  • Capability to drive projects and critical troubleshooting efforts
  • Effort estimation and scheduling for projects
  • Putting together implementation plans for project activities
  • Hands-on experience with any one application, configuration and disaster recovery procedures
  • Knowledgeable about environments providing high availability / clustering and database replication
  • Proficient in database monitoring and performance tuning. Must have experience with enterprise database monitoring tools
  • Must have good trouble shooting and analytical skills
  • High energy, results driven, motivated individual with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under minimal direction
  • Experience working in the capital markets domain
  • Should be open to work in US shift.
  • Keen to learn newer things related to technology, domain, upbeat and hardworking to get results for business needs and personal growth in the area of technology and/domain knowledge
