Job Description

    Job Title: Purchase EngineerEducation: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Instrumentation/Mechanical/Electrical)Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain managementJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled Purchase Engineer to join our team. As a Purchase Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices to support our business operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.Responsibilities:Evaluate suppliers based on quality, delivery, and price competitiveness. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure optimal pricing and quality of goods and services. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Implement purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure optimal procurement processes. Monitor and track inventory levels and collaborate with other teams to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services. Identify and manage risks associated with the procurement process. Develop and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, such as production and engineering teams, to ensure smooth procurement processes. Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated with industry trends and developments. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of vendors and their products and services.Requirements:Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial). 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain management. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and effective decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools. Knowledge of procurement process and supplier management. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
