Job Description

    Job descriptionAs a Senior Web Engineer, you ll work in a cross-functional and collaborative environment with highly skilled and passionate team members across the globe. Your primary responsibility will be the regular and reliable delivery of features, writing automated tests for those features, and continuously improving the quality of your coding practices. You will also regularly help guide architectural decisions, supporting engineering leads to advocate for technical solutions that are sound, scalable, and easy to maintain.You have a drive to continuously expand your personal and professional growth, both under the guidance and direction of your supervisor and under the continued mentorship of the lead and principal engineers you work with on projects. You will also help advance the continued growth of the Web team by guiding best practices and evaluating available frameworks and toolchains that help establish the technical direction for the web development practices.What We Expect
    • 4 years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years focused on Frontend Web development
    • Expert knowledge of JavaScript (3 years), especially ReactJS (2 years) and TypeScript (1 years)
    • You have a deep understanding of CSS and Preprocessors (e.g. Sass, SCSS)
    • You have built stateful single-page applications using HTTP/JSON APIs, WebSockets, Web Workers and Client-side storage
    • You have been part of an agile development team and favor open communication, constant feedback and short decision paths
    • You have experience applying designs from Sketch/Figma files
    • Experienced in writing automated tests to make the code more robust and defect free
    • A strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, including workflows and ceremonies

    • Has proper understanding of semantic markup and know to build interactive pieces that comply to web accessibility standards.
    • Has personal projects or frontend related code contributions to open source community
    • Has additional experience developing remote APIs in NodeJS
    • Is motivated to mentor guide junior members in the team
