We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!Position SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Analytics leader who will be responsible for driving the analytics charter and a long-term analytics roadmap to support Adobes Digital Experience sales objectives in collaboration with GTM (Go to Market) Strategy and Sales Ops management teams. This role will manage a team of data scientist that will provide analytics and business consulting support on topics such as sales rep efficiency, forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, cost of sales, renewals, customer retention etc. This role provides an opportunity to work with senior leaders on high profile and critical initiatives across Adobes enterprise sales domain.This team has evolved from running a purely back-office analytics delivery to a sophisticated decision science and consulting function that is passionate about driving enterprise sales performance. The incumbent is expected to take this function to new levels and to build an outstanding analytics function using modern day data science tools, methods, and processes. They should have proven hands-on skills in data science, and a deep understanding of sales processes, performance management practices, and GTM strategies in B2B sales. They must have good interpersonal skills, executive presence, general management skills to lead projects, teams, and for effective partnership with leaders across matrixed and global teams.ResponsibilitiesDrive the overall strategy and roadmap for the growth of the Data Analytics function to better align with the long-term vision for Enterprise Sales Management in WWFODefine, build, and lead a team of data scientistsDrive the analytics charter through a combination of data mining techniques as well as use statistical and machine learning techniques to discover new insights and operationalize powerful solutions related to sales performanceProvide overall leadership, program ownership & management by being point of contact to key internal customers across all sales functions that require analytics supportRegularly partner with functional leaders to understand business requirements, provide in-depth data analytics, and share insights to support their performance improvement initiatives.Support the analysts on the team on key project activities, such as:Understand the key issues that need to be investigated by the business leader.Translate the problem definition into an appropriate analytical framework that can be completed in a timely and predictable mannerDrive the collection, cleansing and preprocessing of data to align it with the analytical process.Demonstrate technical knowledge on Statistical modeling, Probability and Decision theory, Operations Research techniques and other quantitative modeling techniques to evaluate appropriate analytical tools and techniques to perform the analysesEnsuring work effort generates desired outcomes on time, within budget and at required performance levelsDrive the analyses to meaningful insights and pragmatic conclusionsSupport the business in translating the findings into an operational planRequirementsSuccess will require the following key capabilities:Executive presence build credibility through virtual interactions (calls, video conference) with senior sales leaders.Creatively organize a team with relevant skills, roles, and scale it to be a higher performing unit within the given resources.Strong business and operational orientation prioritize work based on the impact on the organizational performance.Willingness to invest the time to learn more about the practical aspects of sales performance management and incorporating the takeaways into the analytical approach.Analytics translation - frame business problems in analytical questions and then translate findings/ solutions back to the audience in a language they understand with clear operational implications and business impact.Passionate about working with huge data sets and be someone who loves to bring datasets together to answer business questions and have deep expertise in creation and management of datasets.Domain/ industry expertise in Sales analytics and GTM strategyMeticulous and must have a curiosity about solving unstructured problems and work in a self-directed environment, own tasks and drive them to completionGrow the teams capabilities through effective mentoring and coachingStrong work ethics and ability to work independently with minimal direction, with contextual understanding to fill in the blanks as appropriate in the business requests (vs. merely carrying out instructions)Excellence on Adobe Leadership capabilities scaling the business, leading check-in, demonstrating high EQ, leading the change, and hiring the best talentTarget ProfileBachelors/Masters degree with focus on Data sciences/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Information Systems/Operations Research etc.MBA (Master s in Business Administration) or equivalent is strongly preferredMinimum 12 years of overall proven experience in analyticsMinimum 4 years of supervisory experience and building high impact teamsExperience in financial/ sales/ marketing domain within high-tech industry, SaaS (Software as a Service) preferred.Excellent quantitative modeling, statistical analysis skills and problem-solving skillsExperience in Machine learning (decision trees, multivariate and logistic regression, kNN, kMeans, etc.)Excellent verbal and written skills; experience presenting to an executive audienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.,
