Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is a market-leading unified platform for endpoint protection, detection, and response that helps enterprises prevent, protect, detect, investigate, and respond to advanced attacks on their networks. Building on existing Windows 10/11 security defenses and extending these to other platforms (Linux, MacOS, Android and iOS), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint provides attack surface reduction, nextGen protection, detection, investigation, and response capabilities. The Customer Acceleration Team helps onboard our strategic customers, gathers requirements and analyzes customer feedback, and uses data to drive feature requests and product truth back to our core engineering teams. We are scaling out to meet these challenges in the face of incredible growth. As a member of the team, you will give technical deep dives, troubleshoot, and leverage your expertise to help enable our customers to deploy, operationalize, and use our market leading security capabilities. Customer focus: The Senior Product Manager (PM) will work with internal and external customers to understand/anticipate their needs and identify differentiated integration & innovation opportunities to solve problems and delight customers. Product Definition: The PM will convert customer requirements into crisp, prioritized product roadmap and backlog specifications with clear objectives and key results to measure success. Technical Excellence: The PM will be responsible for working with engineering to ensure that product truth is grounded in technical excellence. The PM is expected to continuously identify opportunities to leverage automation, ML, and AI to meet and exceed the scale, performance, security, reliability, and operational efficiency goals for the service and business. Data-Driven Decisions: The PM will be responsible for defining KPIs, ensuring every aspect of the service is instrumented, and applying the data to identify key insights and drive decisions based on them. Collaboration: The PM will identify and own problems and collaborate with partner teams to solve them. The PM will be expected to foster an inclusive environment that brings a diverse set of ideas to the table to deliver innovative, high quality, and timely solutions to problems. Operational Excellence: The PM will work with each feature team to ensure we have high-confidence project plans and execution rhythm leading to timely, high-quality deliveries. , Required Experience :
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• 2+ years of relevant experience in endpoint security across AV, EPP and SOC operations in any industry leading product.
• 5+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles
• 3+ years experience in delivering customer/stakeholder OKRs
Preferred Experience :
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and result-oriented
• Technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly understand service capabilities, technical issues, and customer needs
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Experience deploying, configuring, and using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Experience administering macOS and / or Linux systems
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Proficiency with KQL
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Ability to work with large customers and partners (Business Decision Makers, CISOs and IT Leaders) and explain our value proposition and services
• Proven track record prioritizing feature backlog based on customer evidence
• Solid experience in advocating on behalf of the customer
