Job Description

Office 365 is expanding presence in Sovereign markets. Cyber-sovereignty is an emerging product area that reflects customer, and in particular government, demand for isolated and controlled cloud environments that continue to yield the manageability and feature benefits of the public cloud. This Senior Program Manager role will help define, document and drive Office 365 Sovereign and Regulated cloud solutions. The position requires the ability to work independently, develop thought leadership and gain buy-in across stakeholders. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment filled with ambiguity and competing demands. You will gather underlying requirements, formulate objectives, and develop specs. You will be part of a cross-functional team leveraging Azure and Office to build the next generation cloud, extending investments in the world-wide public cloud.

  • Formulate objectives and develop specs for sovereign cloud feature areas
  • Drive development of sovereign cloud capabilities
  • Gather and understand underlying requirements from external and internal partners
  • Identify areas of investment to bring the sovereign cloud solution forward
  • Drive and project manage areas as assigned

  • 8+ years of program management experience
  • Demonstrated capability driving cloud-based products or solutions
  • Strong ability to work independently and handle ambiguity
  • Strong ability in written communication, especially for formulating compelling technical documents
  • Ability to provide vision and direction in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and diverse environment
  • Ability to come up to speed and operate on technical and business concepts quickly
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to drive results across multiple organizations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively drive business & technical conversations with developers, partners, and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Broad understanding of Office 365 and Azure
