Ensuring that requirements are understood, and appropriate implementation is produced for the expected solution.Good command over Data Structures & Algorithms Exceptional coding skills in an Object-Oriented programming language. Strong problem solving and analytical skills User level knowledge in Unix-based systems Experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres etc.) Work experience with tools like git, svn, maven and jenkins. Desirable to have knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and Spring Boot. Professional engineering environments using HP, Oracle, Solaris, Linux etc.IMS solutions knowledge and experience in developing solutions with functionally similar platforms are plus (e.g. IMS CSCF, IMS HSS, DNS, IMS MRF, IMS MRFC, MG, MGC, SBC, SDM, CFX, NTAS, CTS etc.)Hands-on experience on one of Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia IMS/SurePay/SDM/vDRA ProductsExperience on commercial Databases (SQL, MariaDB, Oracle etc)Experience in Cloud Native Platform (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Virtual Machines, Containers )Experience in Feature testing, Regression testing and Performance/Stress testing.Ensuring the solution performs as designed by validating the functionality by performing functional testsProviding initial analysis for the defects, propose solutions and tracking defects resolution process. Preferred candidate profile should have the following qualifications:
• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics or equivalent degree
• Advanced level of English language skills.
• Self-starter, demonstrates a can-do attitude and open to learn new things
• Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
• Strong communications skills to interact with the R&D organizations and where necessary, customers
• Self-driven, independent and passionate with a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to understand customer perspective and end-use-cases to define product behaviour
