Job Description

    • Translate the business requirements to SAP production planning functional and technical solutions - Make-to-Order & Make-to-Stock.
    • Works closely with SAP key users & business leadership, understands and documents the requirements, risks and key decisions that play a significant role in shaping the solution.
    • Should be able to define the features, phases and solution requirements for timely meeting the requirements.
    • Understand and manage SAP Activate methodology
    • Creating Test Scope, Test Plans & Test Strategies and converting them to Test Cases, for gauging the results.
    • Creating end-user manuals, functional specification documents, etc.
    Job Requirements:
    • Should have a sound knowledge and experience of SAP Production Planning and related supply chain configuration & business processes for process manufacturing in SAP R/3 and S/4 HANA framework.
    • Should have strong knowledge of Production planning-related master data, Bills of Material, Routing and Work Centers.
    • Sound knowledge of MRP and Planning strategies, Stock-keeping at Different BOM Levels, Production execution processes in SAP.
    • Knowledge of interfaces between SAP modules between PP and SD, MM, QM, PS, FI & CO.
    • Perform break/ fix analysis and develops functional specifications with sound knowledge of related data dictionary objects (Tables, Functional Module, BAPI etc.).
    • Should know how to create SAP Queries, using table inner/ outer join.
    • Keeps abreast with the SAP releases, enhancements/ new functionality and perform application research.
    • Participate in release upgrade or new functionality/ enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
    • Understands and applies SAP Global practice methodologies and procedures.
    • Conducting/ participating in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation design.
    • Demonstrate proof of concept (PoC) & supports training activities.
    • Develops functional specifications and works with ABAP resources to complete object development and testing.
    • Adept communicator and matured enough to handle stakeholders queries and good at leading locational SAP team and supporting internal customers.
    Experience
    • Should have 8-12 years of experience in SAP PP Implementations and Roll-Outs during a SAP ECC and S/4HANA transformations program
    • The exposure in SAP Quality Management and SAP Plant Maintenance shall be an advantage
    • Knowledge of SAP PP module- Master data (BOM, Production version etc.), ECN, SAP Reporting etc will be an added advantage
    • Exposure to chemical and process manufacturing domain would be a plus
