Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:Picture Quality Improvement Work on various user space modules responsible for processing image frames and enhancing the quality as per connected display capability. Develop in-depth understanding of Samsung proprietary image processing algorithms, control blocks and flow of input signal. Understand the correlation of video content and graphic content; how they are separately processed and mixed for display. Specialized feature implementation like low power mode, Ambient Mode, sensor-based quality adjustment Panel display improvement. Work on various display types like OLED/ Terrace/ Signage/ TV/ Monitor/ etc Work on kernel level modules for operations like blur/ judder reduction. Display setting and dummy frame insertion based on input frequency and display refresh rate. LED discharge rate control. Display backlight control by pulse width or amplitude modulation. Noise/ Flicker detection and removal. OLED panel burn-in prevention. algorithms. Enhanced optimizations for special features like game play, external device connection OTT content play.Skills Required: C, C, Linux device drivers Experienced with JIRA, GIT, SVN, Confluence, perforce etc. Platform drivers, device trees, probe, IPC and DBus concepts Good GDB knowledge with debugging and crash analysis skills,I2C/SPI Bus standards Good Oops concept understanding with basics of STLTizen TV Architecture, DTV Standards, Picture Quality/ Video Signal processing.Qualifications Required: B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in Computer Science or relevant field 4 years of relevant experience Good understanding of Design Patterns, Data structures and Algorithms,
