Job Description

Job Description

  • To be ready to work in US shift only :mustbe willing to work 8am-5pm EST hours.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business Units, Project Management, and IT staff
  • Create Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Jenkins Build and Release configurations for application deployment
  • Lead after-hours deployments to the production environment
  • Launch automated smoke tests and review output
  • Troubleshoot release issues as needed
  • Conduct post-release reviews of major releases and ensure lessons learned are applied to subsequent releases
  • Other responsibilities as directed by IT Management
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience and 3 years release management experience; experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Angular and .Net preferred
  • Experience working with automated build tools such as Jenkins Declarative Pipeline, TFS, Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles
  • Experience with build utilities such as MSBUILD and Angular cli
  • Experience managing code and branching strategies within Visual Studio and GIT repositories
  • Experience working with automated build tools such as Jenkins Declarative Pipeline, TFS, Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
  • Proficient with the setup and configuration of IIS
  • Proficient with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps a plus
  • Management or supervisory background preferred
  • Experience working collaboratively with on-shore and off-shore development teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills required
  • Dedicated problem solver the ability to coordinate between cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to solve critical issues
  • Strong oral and written communicator, good interpersonal skills, and ability to form effective relationships with all levels of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, applying sound judgment and critical thinking to complete tasks and resolve issues
