Job Description

    1. Work with the ETPLCatgory Buyers to identify cost, quality, delivery & inventory improvement opportunities. Support commodity manager to prepare and deploy long term sourcing strategies for assigned commodities. 2. Work with suppliers, accounting and stakeholders to resolve payment, service or supply discrepancies. 3. Place request for quotations and proposals as needed to procure items. 4. Negotiate and manage key strategic supplier agreements, cost negotiations and relationships 5. Monitor orders and work with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods or services. 6. Contract Management On time, standardization, understanding of critical points & coordination between Legal & other stake holders. Develop positive relationships with suppliers and demonstrates Eaton s ethics, values and philosophy. 7. Responsible for productivity saving targets, on time deliveries and customer satisfaction. 8. PR2PO process, PO amendment when needed, while taking due care of Taxes, Rates, Terms and conditions on ERP 9. Closing of aged PO 10. PO acknowledgement Pulling open order report and send to respective supplier to take follow-up on ship dates & on time delivery. 11. Maintain appropriate documentation for audit and control procedures, in addition to timely and accurately, update purchasing records and data. 12. Ensure the monthly reporting/BSC update on time 13. Responsible to drive cost out to achieve SCM objectives and ensure CODB update on time. 14. Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton s Code of Conduct. 15. Responsible for supplier reduction / tail spend suppliersQualificationsBachelors in Engineering OR Supply Chain Management5-7 years in Supply Chain Management preferably in Indirect Sourcing with categories like Professional Services, CAPEX, Facilities, MRO, Energy, Packaging, IT & TelecomCertification- Any certification in supply management like CPSM, CSM is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent knowledge with MS office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project)Conflict Management, Negotiation, Market Analysis, Ability to work under tough situations, High Impact Communication, Global exposure, tech savvy.What you will get from usEaton s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
