With a heavy emphasis on both technical and communication skills, the candidate will be expected to work closely with other Developers, Business Analysts, Architects and Project Managers across all regions and business clusters to deliver robust design and technical solutions in a controlled, transparent and actively risk managed fashion. Ensuring requirement, functional specifications, and unit testing requirements are well understood and participate in all aspects of analysis, design, implementation and deployment of all software related to these applications.Senior Developer will be building Micro Services using java, Spring boot, REST API and other technology stack.API Java developer - Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Agile, Design skills, RAMLWhat will you be doing o Develops API using technology suite according to detailed design, high level design. This includes Functional and Technical documentation including knowledge articles, user guides, process diagrams, use cases, and test plans as relevant. o Daily stand ups and other relevant agile ceremonies. o Ensure APIs are developed to Barclays standard for Security (Authentication/Threat protection), Performance (Cashing/Load Distribution/Response Paging), Orchestration (Correlation of API calls/Process design), Alerting (Policy Breach/Certificate Renewal Notification), Usage (Service Auditing/Usage metrics) and meeting SLAs. o Work with Stakeholders to manage expectations. o Support Production deployment and live issues. o Attend Design calls and provide inputs in design calls.What we re looking for:Personal attributes essential to performing role including competencies, expertise, knowledge, and experience.Skills that will help you in the role:Experience of more than 4 years in Micro service Java development with strong understanding of Object Oriented Design using Java and Experience in Java 1.8, strong working experience in Java/JEE, Spring boot, Agile & DevOps enabled projects and design skills. Strong experience in Java/J2ee, Spring Framework, Middle-ware development, Java 8 features experience building application over AWS cloud using AWS cloud native services like Step Function, Lambda, AWS SDK, AWS CLI, Dynamo DB, AWS Serverless., ECS, Terraform Hands on experience on developing REST API. Working knowledge of Enterprise tools like Kibana, Jira, Confluence, AppDynamics, Bitbucket. Exposure to DevOps - Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, GitHub, Bitbucket, Openshift Strong technical background with detail driven and excellent problem solving abilities Presentation skills and aptitude to learn tools/apps/processes/domains. Ability to articulate thoughts spoken/written with teams and do proper status reporting and estimations. 1. Hands-on experience in delivering end to end value addition. 2. Stakeholder management 3. Good technical plus ability to drive technical discussion and decision. 4. Mentoring and directing the team.,
