As an Apigee Developer, you will be a key player in the API Management team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable Citi to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree or foreign equivalent At least 6 years of Information Technology experience (preferably in API gateway and Open APIs domain) At least 3 year of experience in designing and building proxy APIs on Apigee platform Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in IT industry (preferably in Integration domain) Experience/Knowledge in Apigee On-Premises and private cloud Architecture Knowledge on configuring API Security (Oauth, JWT, 2 way SSL etc.) on Apigee Edge Design and develop API specifications using Swaggers and Open API Specification Writing Open API spec and knowledge of smart docs and on boarding APIs to developer portal Debug EDGE components. Linux skills for troubleshooting and making the server level changes. Experience in API layer with security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. Also, create custom policies in Java, JavaScript, Node js, Python etc. in Apigee. Support the APIs through the entire lifecycle Experience with design and development of REST API platform using APIGEE/APIM, converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa Build and create shared flows for Error Handling, Security and other scenarios as deemed necessary Design and develop API platform to connect to various disparate backend systems for seamless data exchange Experience with API security norms and conversant in common Internet technologies and protocols viz HTTPs, SSL, OAuth, REST, JSON, XML etc Experience in Scripting technologies like Linux Shell scripting, Java script, Node JS Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Jira Previous experience with Splunk and/or SonarQube Experience with Agile-scrum methodology and test-driven development Hands on Drupal for Dev Porta As a Senior Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module. You should have good experience in application of standard software development principles. You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks. You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/ programming language. You should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers. You should be able to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the team. ,
