Key job responsibilitiesArea Manager II is supposed to guide & lead the FC Operations (Inbound/ Outbound/ FC Dock) team. He/ She should be associate & customer centric leadership, and a self initiator. He/ she is supposed to raise the bar in Dive Deep, Bias For Action, Customer Obsession & Deliver Results across Safety, Quality, Operational & Cost pillars.
    • Ensure a safe work environment for all associates
    • Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
    • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives
    • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor, ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all production goals
    • Embrace a start-up mentality and emphasize have fun .
    • As an Area Manager, you ll have multi-shift responsibilities, providing leadership to several assistant managers, and managing external vendor relationships and performance.
    A day in the lifeInternal Stakeholders - Inbound, Outbound, FC Dock, ICQA, LnD & HR Team.Customers - Internal FC Customers, External stakeholders across other miles, Central Agencies like ACES, PE.This position is expected to have good stakeholder management with the agencies mentioned above, working towards the shared goal of uplifting Customer Experience., A completed Bachelor s Degree/ Diploma from an accredited university in engineering, operations, or related field. Direct management experience for employees in a retail, distribution, or logistics environment Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs MBA in Operations field/ Engineering from a reputed university. 3+ years management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs
