Job Description

  • Required Partner with developers and system engineers to build and deployment solutions for a highly distributed microservices based architecture
  • Manage Jenkins build and release pipelines from development through critical production deployments
  • Monitor and maintain a distributed Jenkins build infrastructure
  • Deliver scripts tools that support and provide feedback for our CI CD process Help developers implement a semantic versioning release strategy Design develop test and deploy DevOps related code as part of a collaborative agile team
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management using either Puppet Chef Ansible or an equivalent
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure designs like Route53 DirectConnect Elastic Beanstalk etc Python Scripting Implement CI pipelines jenkinsfile CD pipelines deployment scripts playbooks container scripts dockerfile and other sample workflow automation
  • Able to explain clearly to Domain architects and App Teams how to use DevOps tools in the areas of CI CD, VMs ,Containers ,Micro services and Test Automation
  • Establish best practices and anti patterns in the areas of CI CD ,Virtual Machines ,Containers ,Micro services and Test Automation
  • Experience with virtualization and hypervisors Openstack KVM Kubernetes Docker etc Developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services AWS including tools such as Kubernetes Docker Lambda and serverless deployments
