Job Description

    Flextronics International is a large multi national company with a strong capability to customize Baan ERP and develop for itself new applications using Baan ERP as a basis.As a result of this activity we have a global BaaN development group which develops new baan solutions and enhances existing baan customizations.Here is a glimpse of what you will do:A Baan Tools specialist who can work on a highly customized Baan5 and ERP LN environment. Handling customizations using Baan/ERP LN Tools.Primary area for development Production, Planning, Order Management modules in Baan 5/LNWorking exhaustively on the Baan Tools Application Development module.The specifics of the role are given below:
    • Interpret functional specification and convert it into a technical specification.
    • Time estimation based on development specifications for developments to be done using Baan Tools.
    • Develop new components and customize existing components in Baan 5 and LN development environment using Baan Tools,based on technical specifications.
    • Testing of customizations/new developments as per user requirement.
    • Create patches/dumps on LN and Baan5.
    • Installation of dumps/patches on LN/Baan 5 servers.
    • Analysis of existing components and optimize existing components for performance .
    • Troubleshooting and debugging errors arising out of Baan application.
    • Development and Testing related Documentation.
    • Adherence to Development rules/guidelines.
    Note: Components Includes Sessions, tables, domains, forms, scripts, reports, labelsHere is some of what you will need (required):
    • Sound knowledge of Baan application development using Baan Tools(Baan V/ERP LN).
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Aptitude in understanding business side as well as IT side in problem solving.
    • Flexible attitude.
    • Good at self teaching and desire to continuously learn.
    • Good communication skills written and verbal.
