  • Support, where requested, on key benefit initiates/projects across EMEA under the direction of the Regional Director
  • Participate on weekly team calls including occasional hosting of them
  • Provide input on market trends and the future development and support ongoing evolution of the Global Benefits Strategy
Operational on-going work
  • Establish robust processes to ensure the effective delivery of the EMEA Benefit plans for each country through focus on operational excellence (simplification and streamlining of processes in particular in partnership with Payroll and the Shared Services (Operation) teams
    • System Darwin, as per country roll out first country being Poland for the Focus on Kenya, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Turkey and UAE
  • Work with key providers in country as well as other supporting countries to support with escalated employee queries
  • Ticket system support for all EMEA tickets escalated from Tier s 1 or 2
  • Actively provide benefit renewal data for all countries, working with our global broker (as appropriate).
  • Establish and demonstrate effective working relationships with vendors and key internal partners e.g. Finance, Payroll, Shared Services (Operations), Business/People Partners
  • Manage all benefit invoices across EMEA including the UK, to ensure no invoices are left unpaid e.g. resulting in employees not on cover
  • Benefits data reconciliations for certain locations (e.g. s Poland, Turkey, UAE)
  • Pension/retirement support on processing data for payroll and payment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Key initiatives/projects include for 2021:
  • Workday data improvements and benefits held in Darwin for countries across the region
  • Manage operationally the EMEA aspect of the global loyalty programme
  • Focus on collating and creating a database for benefit invoices
  • Document (high-level) benefit processes for employees and People Office Partners, where relevant
What you bring
  • 3+yrs of experience in Benefits Administration or HR role.
  • Good level of understanding of benefits provided in a multinational organisation
  • Experience of using HR Systems such as Workday and benefit platforms including provider/vendor systems
  • Fluent in communicating in English
  • Good/excellent level of experience of Microsoft packages Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Word
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and fostering collaborative, cross functional working, relationships to ensure key goals and objectives are met
  • Demonstrated ability to be able to multitask
  • Good influencing skills
  • Strong customer service delivery and responsiveness
  • Proactive working style, a team player who can build highly effective professional relationships locally and remotely across many countries.
  • Ability to act as an agent for change and willing to challenge the status quo
  • Has knowledge of Benefits practices and knowledge of the associated policies within one or two countries
  • Can interact fluently with employees and managers on queries relating to benefits and generate associated communications
