Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities Purpose Responsible for increase in Brand visibility, Brand image, market research, and branding for range of Products. Brand Reports to Managing Director Key Responsibilities A ) Operational 1. Analysing brand / product s performance in terms of sales & market share against targets and taking corrective actions 2. Conducting regular market audits, 3. Collecting competitor information 4. Conducting market research 5. Providing consumer behavior related and other insights for value proposition design (product design & features along with pricing) 6. Planning and implementing target market wise BTL and ATL promotion including sampling, exhibitions etc. 7. Coordinating internally with R & D, Production & Sales departments 8. Coordinating with external agencies like advertising agency, market research agency, packaging supplier, and media agencies etc. B) Strategic 1. Participating in Marketing Strategy Development including target market selection. positioning strategy, product & brand strategy 2. Estimating market size for various product lines & assessing competitive position of each product line 3. Forecasting & setting overall, geography wise & periodic targets 4. Defining, developing and defending brand equity by - Measuring and advancing breadth & depth of brand awareness - Creating strong and favorable associations in the light of chosen brand positioning and identity- Monitoring and modifying quality and value perception- Monitoring and modifying customer satisfaction- Monitoring and enhancing brand loyalty in terms of repeat purchase cross purchase, word of mouth, referrals and sense of community Coordination of exhibitions. 5. Participation in new product development and brand extension 6. Managing product contribution margins 7. Budgetary control Note:- Brand executive are expected to focus more on Operational issues while brand brand managers are expected to perform both roles with an appropriate balance. Span of Control: Key Interfaces Internal: Finance, Procurement, Production, Sales, QC, R&D.External: Distributors, Retailers, Customers Measure of PerformanceFinancial Revenue generation: Sales Growth Customer: Market penetration, New customer developmentProcess: Improved reach of productsLearning & Growth: In-depth knowledge of Market and products.Desired Candidate Profile Any Graduate / MBA / PGDM Marketing through MIT, PUMBA, PUNE UNIVERSITY, and VISHWAKARMA University will be first preference. Having 9-12 years of experience in Branding and promotion in retail industry and handling promotional events individually. Candidate should be preferably Maharashtrian. Should have knowledge about Maharashtrian food / culture. Should have experience in organizing and execution of promotional events.
